Meet your guide to better connections.
Catherine Rosborough, LPC
I am passionate about the healing power of love!
I find joy in helping people move through challenges and transitions, including relational changes after childbirth, through empty nesting and yes, menopause, and working with these changes in an empowered way. Aging brings wisdom and creates new possibilities, as well as new insecurities and fears. I have a specific interest in relationship and intimacy through the lifespan, how emotional intimacy and sexual intimacy are related and work together to strengthen relationships.
I have been working as a therapist since 2002, and bring into my “relationship lab” a diverse range of experience, both personal and professional. I have worked in a mental health center, in Drug Court and jails, and as a counselor and early interventionist in several metro-Atlanta high schools. I am a wife and partner, mother of 7 children, and grandmother of 4. Some of my children are adopted, the impetus for my focus on attachment-based therapy. I spent the years that I was home with them developing non-profits to benefit children and families, in the United States and in Africa.
In 2013, I went to treatment for alcohol addiction, a multigenerational family illness. Through my own struggles and recovery, I became passionate about family wellness, realizing that healthy families begin with healthy individuals, and that I needed to get myself healthy, regardless of the stigma that kept me silent and isolated during those years.
In 2022, I began advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and have been working in private practice with individuals and relationships since, building my toolbox and honing my skills.

We all bring painful experiences from the past into our present relationships.
These experiences and associated shame and fear block intimacy and full self-expression, creating the experience of loneliness, even when we are with our partners and loved ones. Through my struggles and success in intimate relationships, I have developed a deep understanding of what it feels like to be “stuck” in hurtful patterns with no roadmap to guide me. I truly want to work with you as a guide, exploring deeper love, connection and intimacy, beginning with your relationship with yourself.
I have extensive training and specialize in communication and intimacy. If this is what you are searching for, welcome! I hope you will embark on a journey of exploration with me, to fuller self-expression and fulfillment, because you deserve your best life!
